OUR ROOMS

Moulton is unique, in that we have two buildings with three distinctive areas available for general hire.
The Village Hall is Moulton’s original community hall, and the adjacent Community Centre has two rooms, the Ward Hall which contains staging facilities and the smaller Myers Room. There are kitchen facilities and toilets in both buildings.

Ward Hall

The Community Centre comprises two distinctive rooms: the Ward Hall and the Myers Room

​The Ward Hall is the larger of the two rooms, having a room capacity of 180, a large dance floor, stage facilities, access to the kitchen area via two serving hatches, and tables and chairs as required. The main area in front of the stage measures approximately 12mx6m.

​The standard hire rate for the Ward Hall is £11.50 per hour, but both the Ward Hall and the Myers room can be hired simultaneously. In this case, a reduction in the hourly rate will be applied – please contact us for details.

​Wifi access is available – details of how you can connect will be given to you upon booking confirmation.

For special occasions, a full set of china can be provided if required.

The Community Centre is also licensed for Public Entertainments

Myers Room

The Community Centre comprises two distinctive rooms: the Ward Hall and the Myers Room.

​The Myers Room is smaller, having a room capacity of 57, and has the use of the kitchen facilities but no direct access. Tables and chairs are also available as required. It measures approximately 6.5mx7m.

​The standard hire rate for the Myers Room is £11.00 per hour, but both the Ward Hall and the Myers room can be hired simultaneously. In this case, a reduction in the hourly rate will be applied – please contact us for details.

​WiFi access is available – details of how you can connect will be given to you upon booking confirmation.

For special occasions, a full set of china can be provided if required.

Village Hall

The Village Hall contains two distinctive areas, the main hall and a large kitchen area. It offers the following facilities:

  •     Fully fitted kitchen
  •     Large seating area
  •     Tables and chairs as required
  •     A table tennis table and a pool table
  •     Toilet facilities (including disabled and children’s toilets)
  •     WiFi

This building offers a more intimate atmosphere than the Community Centre. It does not have a Public Entertainments license and is therefore prohibited from playing live music. Suggested uses are:

  •     Cookery demonstrations
  •     Family and children’s parties
  •     Meetings
  •     Clubs and groups
  •     Fairs and auctions
  •     Education and training courses

Standard hire rate for the Village Hall is £12.00 per hour.

The dimensions of the main hall are approximately 15.5mx6m. There are original wooden beams across the ceiling with light fittings attached, situated just over 3m from the ground.
